eat and sleep

Luke dozes off at the dinner table between courses. Don't you want your yoghurt Luke?

Luke's first chinese meal

Quickly becoming a one chopstick expert, his first taste was a bit too spicey for him.

nursery open

Amazingly Joe's nursery was open even though everything else was shut down so we struggled in to drop him off and then went walking in the snow.

out and about

with Luke in the backpack and Joe on foot it's time to go out exploring. Joe was fascinated by all the children on sledges but unfortunately the whole country seems to be sold out of plastic sledges.

even more snow

Some local photos from around Knaresborough here

more snow

Luke is a bit young yet to get too excited about the snow.

snowed in

Some serious snow here- 8 inches and minus 9 so we have been snowed in. Joe loves the thick snow drifts but has not grasped the concept that he could play out longer than 10 minutes if he wore his gloves instead of refusing to put them on.

Christmas day

Great fun was had by everyone on Christmas day and the boys got some great presents which they are having fun playing with now.

mince pies

Joe was getting really excited on christmas eve and helped make some mince pies so that we could leave one out for santa to eat when he came down the chimney.

santa spotted

Joe and Luke went to Harlow carr and spotted Santa and his donkeys with fake antlers.... sorry his reindeers and Joe posted his presents list of lorries, cars and balls.

Christmas photos

It was hard work getting Joe and Luke to smile cheerfully for a photo, they just did not like being santa perhaps they did not want all the hard work delivering presents.
