time for an evening trip on the tram to see all the lights. Great fun for the boys but way past their bedtimes.

Blackpool tower

A trip to Blackpool with the boys to see the lights and the trip up the tower was great fun. There is a glass floor at the top, 380 ft up, which you can walk across if you dare. Luke was not at all impressed but Joe loved it running across and jumping on it.

Grandad Keith gave Joe some good training in how steam engines work while Luke was happy climbing barriers and saying tractor over and over

A high tech tree at Harlow carr- we could actually listen to the noises going on inside the tree from the water passing up through it. Joe said that as the water was feeding it then the noise must have been the tree's tummy rumbling.

bus drivers

just aren't as friendly as they used to be, must be all those traffic fumes. Nothing like shocking all your passengers driving like a maniac and steering with your feet.

more sweetcorn fun

After Luke's fun with the sweetcorn, Joe also wanted to make some funny photos with sweetcorn the next time that we ate some.

family visit

We had a great weekend visit from the family. Cousins Finn and Sophie had a great time with the boys who did not want them to go home again.
