Some nice photos of Luke out with the family. He's doing great after 9 weeks and smiling and kicking his legs. First injections went well and the latest weight is 11 lbs 2 oz so doing well.
Oh no the playground at valley gardens has been closed to be redesigned but watching the digger and dumper truck in action is much more fun than swings and climbing frames any day.
Joe got really excited on his first bicycle ride and wanted to sit on the front seat and wanted Daddy to go behind him in the chair seat. At one point he even banged Daddy on the back and shouted to go faster.
Joe had some of his pals round for a party which mostly involved eating cakes, running around and dancing and pushing and shoving over toys but everyone went home happy.
Joe's reached the grand age of 2 and had a great day to celebrate. A ride out on a real tractor and seeing the animals at a local farm and some great presents including his own wheelbarrow and cleaning set of brushes and mops from his Grandma and Grandad, a wooden train set from Mummy and Daddy and cousin Finn and lots of other cool presents so thanks to everyone. Thank you cards are waiting for my new printer to arrive!
After a month Luke has increased in weight to 9 lb 12 oz gaining a pound in the last week alone and has already outgrown his newborn size nappies and some of his body suits. After a sleepy start he is alot more alert now although still like to be awake all night. He has also just started smiling for the first time.
Has an alien spaceship landed in joe's garden? no, Auntie Julie has bought him a den for his climbing frame as a birthday present so he is just busy helping Daddy to build it.
Daddy and Joe went to see the real Thomas and were thrilled to go inside the cab and meet the driver. Joe even got to pull the string and sound the whistle. An extra added bonus was a trip with Mavis.
Joe enjoyed his day as a farmer and made a big impression with his new tractor. Daddy and Joe got to brush a pig and Joe discovered that he was the same length as a newborn goat and the same weight as a newborn pig.
