Luke's hammock

Luke has a nice cosy hammock now for those daytime naps in the spring sunshine.

trains

Joe was soon driving his own train on a visit to the railway museum in York and was happy to see that his friend Thomas was still there. Trains are great but buses...who wants to go in those? Not young Joseph anyway.

visit from Gran and Auntie Suzanne

It was great to have Gran and Auntie Suzanne come up on the train to visit us and see young Luke for the first time. Joseph was thrilled to meet them on York station and also loved watching the trains. His name for Gran is now "Grandma daffer who goes on the train" and he says it whenever the phone rings.

Bobo

The birthing ball can now be deflated and packed away but not before having a bit of fun squashing poor Bobo the monkey.

Luke at one week

Some photos of Luke after one week. He was struggling to establish feeding and spent most of the days sleeping and so of course he was then awake every night.

Joe's keeping busy

Joe has been busy brushing the whole street and watching the workmen in action. I don't know how he knew the digger drivers name was Bob.

time to go home

It was soon time to make the short trip home and a well deserved sleep for everyone.

in hospital

It was only a short stay in hospital and everyone seemed very happy. Joe seemed equally thrilled to discover a balloon in the day room of the maternity ward.

Welcome to Luke James

Hello and welcome Luke James. Weighing in at 8 lbs 1.5 oz and doing really well.

Friday 27th March

Friday evening, Joe bathed and ready for bed....tens machine connected. Here come the first signs that things are about to happen.

swimming fun

Joe's swimming lessons are coming on well and he's getting much more confident.
