On the rig

The rig I am on is a floating drilling rig called Borgland Dolphin working for Statoil and we are crew changing out of Bergen in Norway as you can see from the map. The Shetland Islands are bottom left.

Just won a rocking chair on ebay for feeding Joe on but Sheena says this information is far too boring to post on the internet for anyone to read. I think she may have a good point really.

week 5 in his cot

Last day on the rig. Joe is into his week 5 and I have been away for the last 2 weeks of it. Sheena has been doing an excellent job on her own but I can't wait to get back and give her a hand.

Joseph Henry Morley

Joe was born on Sunday 29th April 2007 at 0830hrs at Harrogate Hospital. He weighed in at 8lbs 1oz and everything went really well. Sheena did a brilliant job and the proud parents took him home after 3 days.
